Sandy Miller Elementary School Students are brilliant!

On Jan 13, I was lucky enough to present Next to Mexico to two groups of 3rd, 4th and 5th graders at Sandy Miller Elementary. These students are awesome. Topics and themes that came up during our open discussions after the presentations were: greed, hunger, morality, and listening to your conscience.

The school has been around for nine years and offers an IB (International Baccalaureate) program. I didn't even realize this type of program existed for pre-high school students. This place is awesome.

Thank you to all at Sandy Miller for inviting me!
