Ho ho ho, Merry Mexico!
This is the first annual Next to Mexico book giveaway! Leave a comment here, and for every 20 comments, I will send a book to a children's hospital as a gift. So far we have eight comments from eight cool and funny people (okay, I am one of those people but it still counts). Thanks, and keep them coming! Spread the word!

I love NEXT TO MEXICO! It reminds me how fragile and unbelievably strong we are. It makes me want to go to Mexico and have a friend like Mexico and a friend like Lylice. Girls rock! So does Jen Nails!
I like to say, "Next,.. TO MEXICO!!" As if to say, i'll be heading there soon on my next vacation or something. Either way, Lylice is my best friend!
Jen Nails! What a wonderful thing you are doing. Happy Mexico and Happy Holidays!
Jen Nails, you are the greatest thing to ever happen to mankind.
Lylice is an unforgettable character. She is honest and warm, and a bit out of touch, which makes her all the more beautiful. Jen Nails, you are amazing!
Jen I see you are as amazing and generous as ever!! I love you, Lylice and your unending commitment to your work. You are an inspiration!
Hi Jen! It was great hearing from you - happy holidays and all the best in the new year. Patrick Carman
Hello Jen! (It's Saara here, hiding under the handle from my CNN Peon Confidential blog.) What a wonderful idea! You are a lovely person, and I wish you the happiest of holidays.
My 10 year old daughter, Eva, LOVES this book. She wrote a book report on it for school and gave it a 5* rating and described it as her favorite book EVER. She then said that she likes Harry Potter too but only because there is a series of Harry Potter books. So, once you write the sequel, Jen, you've got that JK Whatchamacallher nailed! (pun intended!!)
Lylice, the one woman show that inspired the book, is so fantastics too! Eva celebrated her 10th birthday by seeing you perform it. She was SO inspired (me too)!
Take care,
Sally
What a great idea. Happy to be a part of it. Also, glad to see that you've been visiting schools. I think it's a really important part of being a children's author --a part that many don't make the effort to do.
Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday. See you next year at Guest NIght at the New School!!!!

Hi Jen! This is a great gift that you're giving.
I loved NTM....read it twice!
It takes me back to my childhood and some of the fun, exciting and scary things I used to be a part of.
We all hope to be reading a new Lylice adventure soon!....oh! See you in Vegas!
xoxo
Derek
Lylice is such an amazing character. In our cynical times it is so nice to read about a person who is so earnestly and unapologetically good-hearted. Great for kids and adults!
Jen Nails, thank you for creating Lylice and being such an inspiration as a writer.
Vera can't wait to read the book when she finishes The Iliad.
I'm almost finished reading 'the diving bell and the butterfly' by Jean-Dominique Bauby. The memoir breezes by with crisp moving images. I alternate reading the book with studying pilates equipment choreography for my certification and the irony is not lost on me. The memoir is "written" by a man who could only communicate with one eye blinking and I trying to remember and learn complex body movement patterns so I can cue clients. Bonne Chance! Alexa
What will happen to the children's hospitals when they are all forced to close down once the copies of this magical book arrive?
Yo - I need the book. Let me know your preferred outlet where I should buy - B&N? Local seller? Online? You get extra brownie points somewhere where I buy it?
Anyway, hope you get lots of comments and lots of books get sent out.
